Whales Want to Die

If there is one thing Team Wilco hates, it's whales. If there is two things Team Wilco hates, it's whales and Greenpeace.

SYDNEY (AFP) - A new high-seas struggle between a Japanese whaling fleet and anti-whaling activists is expected to erupt within days in the icy waters of the Antarctic, a Greenpeace spokesman said.

The Greenpeace boats, with 57 activists on board, found the Japanese fleet of six ships on December 21 and immediately engaged in a high-risk strategy of physically trying to prevent the killing of whales.

Crew members in small inflatable boats put themselves between the harpooners and their targets -- a tactic Greenpeace expedition leader Shane Rattenbury said they intend to repeat.

"Once they try and resume whaling our plan is to try and stop them in much the same way as we were when we found them just before Christmas -- getting our small boats out there and getting between the harpoon and the whale."

I dig going out to make a difference in the world but this is a silly cause. Whales don't want to be saved. The ocean is a big place. If they really wanted to, whales could remain hidden from whalers. If I saw a bunch of Japanese guys riding around in a "Filipino hunting death machine" then I'd probably not stick around. People tell me that whales and dolphins are intelligent. If that is the case, then it's obvious that they just want to commit suicide. I'm not being ridiculous...

WELLINGTON, New Zealand - Wildlife officers shot 41 pilot whales that beached on New Zealand's South Island, the Department of Conservation said.

A total of 49 whales came ashore Saturday near Farewell Spit in the second major stranding in the area within two weeks. Eight died on the beaches, and the remaining animals were shot when heavy seas prevented any attempt to refloat them.

"There have always been strandings at Golden Bay," he said, noting that the tide goes out as much as four miles and the animals "get trapped on this gentle sloping beach."

It seems like whales are into dying. I'm a strong believer in euthanasia. I think about suicide whenever I catch the flu. These Japanese whalers aren't monsters. They're heroes.

The real monsters are in Greenpeace. Why don't they focus on saving an animal that attempts to save itself. A turtles and rolly pollys try cover up but they still get caught. Little redneck kids pick them up, put them in a jar, and give them leaves to replicate their natural habitat. A week later, the animal is dead. I don't see Greenpeace flinging their bodies in front of rolly pollys.

Why even save animals? I believe that a person should help out those close to them before attempting to help the problems of others. Black men are a dying breed. Heart disease, murder, AIDs, and other nasty things are choking the global black community. I don't see Greenpeace trying to take on the LAPD. We all know that the LAPD is the leading killer of black males age 15 to 45. Greenpeace, WWF, and PETA doesn't care about black people.
